Hi, we're a coeliac family. When our little one was diagnosed with coeliac disease, we had plenty to learn: reading labels, sorting out the kitchen, talking to school, and planning for parties and days out. One of us became the expert first, and the other caught up. Often it works that way, and this is for both of you. We looked for one place that brought it all together for parents and couldn't find it, so we started making the things we needed. That's how The Coeliac Parent began.
What we've learned is that coeliac means different food, not fewer adventures. With a bit of planning, the birthday parties, school trips and holidays are all still there.
Everything we make is practical, cheerful and written in plain English, for families who are just starting out and for those who've been doing this for years. Wherever you are with it, you're not alone. We're in this together.
